While there is so much noise and uproar over the name MUMBAI replacing the name of Bombay, the Colonial nostalgia and addiction for old scabs and crusts are still evident in the names e.g :
INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS __ COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA ____COMMUNIST PARTY(MAXIST)
HINDU(Sindhu) __HINDUSTAN (Persian Distortion).
That way BJP may claim some credit in choosing - BHARATYA JANATA PARTY, though at the tail end 'party ' sticks.
Recent left remnant of colonial nostalgia was found in the name - BOLLY- WOOD when MUMBAI was still 'BOMBAY' .
But now when Bombay is now MUMBAI, don't know, when the dear name of 'MOLLY _ WOOD' will be effected ?
Lastly : About the religion 'Hindu'; Vivekanandwas Hindu ever a vedic, Vedantic or logo of bharatya origin.As Hindu-word is a Persian-distortion of Original 'sindhu' is it not time to rethink ,after more than 60 yrs of Independence?
