Attending the Repubkic Day
it floats back in memory, mine
the painful event of my youthful days
and my birth-land split by fate un-kind
and India cut unto parts !
Was it a final gain or a defeat
or a reality in other form
a hurting tragic 'Truth'!
Those that were my country-men
became the 'foreigners' now!
With that aftermath, I'm still alive
Is it the best or the worst!
who can convince me or advise now -
how should I celebrate or how
should I salute this 'Time'?
